Man arrested after police drugs raid on Inverkeithing house
2 DecemberA man has been arrested after a raid by police on a house in Fraser Avenue, Inverkeithing - which also led to the seizure of drugs and cash.
Officers in South West Fife are continuing their efforts to tackle the menace of drug dealing, and on Wednesday 30th November officers executed a drugs search warrant in Fraser Avenue which led to the recovery of heroin, cannabis resin and a quantity of cash. A 40-year-old man was arrested and will be appearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Local Community Sergeant Jonathan Peebles, said: "I would like to thank the public for continuing to support our efforts to tackle those who blight our communities by distributing harmful drugs. This seizure identifies how information given to us, leads directly to the recovery of drugs and the arrest of those involved. Fife Constabulary is committed to Taking Policing Closer to the Community and we will continue to take enforcement action in response to information from the public.”
Officer leading the enquiry PC Louise Thewlis, said: "Drug dealing is a priority for Fife Constabulary and this latest seizure should act as a reminder to those allegedly involved in such activity that we are determined in our efforts to rid communities of the misery associated with illegal drugs.
