Take a dip for charity this new year - calling brave Inverkeithing volunteers!
21 December, 2011There’s still time to get involved in a fun new year event, with organisers calling on people in Inverkeithing to take the plunge into the Forth, and help to raise money for a great cause.
The New Year's Day Dip at Limekilns is looking for people to take part in aid of the CLIC Sargent cancer charity, and already dippers are registered for this year with loads of registration forms landing in the mailboxes each day.
The Dip is at 10am on New Year's Day at Limekilns Beach near Inverkeithing. There is no registration fee to take part but organisers do ask that everyone tries their best to raise a minimum of £100 each for CLIC Sargent. Fancy dress is encouraged!
To save time on the day, register in advance to take part - to enter and for more information please contact Hamish Alldridge at CLIC Sargent at hamish.alldridge@clicsargent.org.uk or on 07968 098939.
You can find out more here on the Dip's Facebook page.
