Worldwide tributes paid after death of David King - 'Mr Inverkeithing'
3 JuneMessages of sympathy have been pouring in following the death of David King, the man known who was known simply as "Mr Inverkeithing", who passed away last week.
Tributes have been sent from all over the world after Mr King's death, after he died peacefully aged 72 at his home in St John's Court.
He lived all of his life in Inverkeithing, and went to the old primary school in Roods Road. He also played football, and was a judo instructor at local clubs.
David King also played a major part in preserving the history of the town, helping to build up the town museum, and working to revive the town's Gala Day, and setting up local youth clubs.
